Enclosure View

The Enclosure View window displays the front and rear views of a connected array and its expansion enclosures. When the manager starts, the software defaults to the enclosure view. To open the enclosure view when on another configuration screen, single click its icon from the configuration tree. The key information of the enclosure is listed in the Information Summary sub-window.

To switch among expansion enclosures, click the related tab buttons above the enclosure graphics.

To display information about hard disk drives, place your cursor on a drive icon for one second.

To diaplay information about enclosure components, place your cursor on the rear view graphic for one second.



The Rotation Button
A rotation button is provided to the right of enclosure graphics.

Each mouse click on it turns the enclosure graphic 90 degrees clockwise. This usually applies to the "Cube" desktop models that can be laid flat on its side.
