Logging In
To connect to a subsystem, click System on the outer shell window command menu and then select Open Device to open a connection window.
IP
Address:
Enter the host name/IP address of the server connected with a RAID array or
the IP address assigned to a RAID subsystem's Ethernet port.
Enable SSL: An SSL digital certificate
is an electronic file that uniquely identifies individuals and servers. Digital
certificates allow the client (Web browser) to authenticate the server prior
to establishing an SSL session. If you have an SSL certificate, you may enable
it by a click on this check box.
User name:
Three (3) access levels are available: Configuration,
Maintenance, or Information.
Password: enter the pre-assigned password. Password
is configurable in the “Configuration Parameters”
under the Configuration category. A password is specific to each RAID array.
Click OK button to access the subsystem or click Cancel button to exit the connection window.
Show Root Agent List: the manager will automatically display available RAID arrays that are in a specific IP segment. To manage an array, right-click on the array icon and select an authorized access level. Enter a password when it has been set. You may add or delete an IP segment using the Auto Discovery setup screen in the Configuration Client utility.

Note that Configuration Client is only available if you install the software using the Central Management mode.
