Receiver Side
To set a fax machine to receive event messages:

Step 1: Open the Fax notification menu by clicking the Fax icon on the top screen menu bar.

Step 2. Right-click on the lower half of the configuration screen, the receiver entry field, to display the add recipient prompt.

Step 3: An Add receiver prompt displays. Enter the phone number of the event notification receiving fax
machine.

Step 4: Enter the Outside line number.

Step 5: Enter the Delay Second used to delay before dialing.

Step 6: Enter the level of severity of events to be sent via fax.

Step 7: Repeat this process to add more receivers.

Note: The physical connection and Fax service with Windows MAPI or messaging service should be ready before configuring this function.


Sender Side
From the Notification Manager screen:

Step 1: Open the Fax settings by the Fax button on the menu bar.

Step 2: Click on the On/Off switch besides the pull-down button to enable Fax notification.

Step 3: Set Status to Enable if you want the module to be activated every time the Notification Manager is started. Note that the On/Off switch should also be in the ON position before you turned off the server or closed the utility. Otherwise, you will have to manually enable the function.

Step 4: Select the severity level of events to be sent to the receiver station.

Step 5: The Fax device row shows the Fax machine(s) currently available. Check for approprate setup in Windows control panel.

Step 6: Queue size determines how many events will be accumulated to be sent via a single Fax transmission.
