Expanding
a Logical Volume
Expanding a logical volume
requires expanding its members (logical drives) separately. Click here to see how to expand a
logical drive by adding physical drives.
Another way to expand capacity
is to copy and replace members
of a logical drive. Drive expansion is also available if you intentionally preserved a port of disk space while creating the logical drive(s).
The Expand button in the Existing Logical Volumes
window allows you to make use of the unused/added capacity when the logical drive/logical
volume has been enlarged.
