Notification Manager

What is the Notification Manager?
The Notification Manager provides messaging options that notify system administrators of system events when they occur in one or multiple RAID arrays.

To avoid the blind time of system monitoring, install SANWatch, along with its utilities, on different servers.

What Are the Notification Methods?
The Notification Manager provides the following methods for sending notifications: SNMP Traps, Email, LAN broadcast, Fax, SMS, and MSN Messenger . Some notification methods, such as the connectivity with a Fax machine, requires corresponding services on server OSes used as the management platforms.

How to Start the Utility?

Select a RAID system by a left-click in SANWatch's Connection View screen. Enter the Notificatio Manager by the associated button on the top screen menu bar.
