Message Service)
Receiver Side
To set a cell phone to be receiving notification messages, first open the Notification Manager from SANWatch's initial portal window. Left-click to select a RAID system and select Notificaiton Manager from the top screen menu bar:
Step 1: Right-click on the
lower half of the configuration screen, the receiver entry field, to display
the add recipient prompt.

Step 2: Enter the Cell
Phone Number of the contact receiving event message.

Step 3: Select the severity level of events to be sent to the receivers. Notification means all levels of events will be delivered. Critical means only the critical events will be delivered.
Step 4: Repeat this process
to add more receivers.
Sender Side
From the upper half of the screen:
Step 1: Click on the On/Off switch besides the pull-down button to enable SMS notification.

Step 2: Set Status to Enable if you want the module to be activated every time the Configuration Client is started. Note that the On/Off switch should also be in the ON position before you turned off the server or closed the utility. Otherwise, you will have to manually enable the function.
Step 3: Select the severity level of events to be sent to the receiver station.
Step 4: Select the COM port where you connect your GMS modem.
Setp 5: Enter the four-digit identification Pin Code required by the modem.
Step 6: Provide a Send Period in milliseconds for time intervals between messages sent.
Step 7: Provide a retry
time value.
