Create Logical VolumeTo Create a Logical Volume: 1. Select Create Logical Volume from the Configuration category. The Create Logical Volume window is displayed. 2. Select members of the new logical volume by clicking icons in the Logical Drives Available window. Select one or more logical drives each by single mouse click. 4. Drives selected for a new logical drive will be listed in the Selected Members sub-window on the right hand side. 5. Wirte Policy: Define the write policy that will be applied to this logical volume. "Default" means identical to the subsystem's default setting. 6. Assignment: Select the RAID controller that will manage the logical volume. For example, if you have two logical drives, one is managed by controller A, and the other managed by controller B. This way, you make use of all the computer power. 7. Click the OK button to complete the process. Click the Reset button to redo or abort the process. Back to Help Contents
