The manager provides support
for the operating systems listed below:
1. RAID monitoring and configuration.
2. Utilities to access and collect information from multiple arrays, issue event notification, etc.
3. The Data Service (Snapshot): including settings related to point-in-time snapshot functions, space utilization control, snapshot automated scheduler, and options related to EonPath multi-pathing driver.
Key functions in the management software include:
- Configuring disk drives into logical arrays, host LUN mapping, array parameter setting, host/drive channel bus settings
- Support for all EonStor
series RAID subsystems and the 1U RAID head
- SSL option to ensure access security with network configuration
- Graphic-oriented monitoring and configuration interface
- Simultaneous display of mutiple information windows
- Real-time and visualized display of array status, including correspoding module
LEDs
- Array expansion, Media Scan, and various array parameters setting
- On-line configuration and rebuild
- Auto discovery searches the online subsystems automatically
- Real-time display of system operating status, including temperature, voltage,
and battery status
- Critical situations notification, configured via the Notification Manager utility
- Configurable thresholds and trigger modes with the Auto Shutdown and Auto Cache
Flush functions
- Instantaneous system event in a separate message window; also sorted by individual
configuration window
- Switch between different legend languages simply by a click on menu options
