The SANWatch manager software is a continuance of previous RAIDWatch, providing the same ease of use of a cross-platform usability. 
This new interface sets the standard for data protection, speed, security, manageability and is packed with many new features and improvements. 
   
The following are the key improvements in SANWatch:

 1. Data Service: Snapshot functionality, including VSS support (installed by a separate VSS hardware provider), Flush agent, space utilization control, automated snapshot scheduler.
 2. Intial Portal window providing a collective view of subordinate RAID systems, display or array status summary, and access to Notification Manager. 
 3. The RAID management part of the software supports latest OSes.
 4. The new login screen with serial no. feedback for license login.
 5. Centrally monitor and manage multiple RAID subsystems.
 6. Simultaneous display of multiple arrays' information.
 7. Multi-language support, currently in English, Deutsch, Spanish and Japanese.
 8. The Restore factory default function to restore firmware default settings in configuration hazards.
 9. Host LUN information under the configuration list can be exported as an an XML file.
 10. Auto Discovery function searches available subsystems on the network.  
 11. The Configuration Wizard guides you through the RAID array and snapshot configuration process.
